Lauren Milord began Irish step dancing after seeing Riverdance at the age of 8 with Tir Na Greine in South Florida, and she continued to compete throughout much of her childhood and teenage years. In college, she discovered Tufts Irish Dance Team, which she co-led during her senior year. After graduation, Lauren discovered old-style step dancing with Kieran Jordan in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and soon deepened her knowledge of Irish dancing, music, and culture.
She now lives in Washington, DC, where she occasionally performance, dances competitively, and is available for old-style Irish dance instruction and performance. By day (and then some), Lauren works as Director of Programs for DreamUp.
